Here we are with the second part of the interview to Blank Blank: 

How many stores are currently sell your products?

Four in Latvia: Paviljons, Pop Art, Bang Bang, Taste Latvia. You could find our products also In Iko Iko in Copenhagen, a small shop, and soon in a new store opening in Estonia. In addition, we are negotiating to enter in the Lithuanian market. On the Internet, you can find us on Red Mint, the British company that pays particular attention to Eastern European designers.

What is your opinion about your brand after six months of life?

Surely it is a very demanding job. If you have any other business, you have to work something like 4 or 6 hours per day, if you have a business in the fashion world you have to work at least 40 hours a week. We are still learning, no one has experience in how to run a company, but we love what we do. We are learning so much in fashion business.

Lomography (Lomo for friends) gives us the opportunity to follow the entire photographic process since the construction of our first reflex. Konstruktor is a small 35 mm camera, which offers full customization possibilities with stickers and skins in three different colors (white, blue, red).

Mimesis: Noway new collection

Non mi è nuovo parlare di Noway sul mio blog. Questo brand mi ha sempre colpito per la semplicità, per i pochi capi che propone, ma sempre ben realizzati. E per ultimo, ma non meno importante, per i lookbook così accattivanti e azzeccati. 

In questa collezione sono pure entrate alcune borse, veramente eccezionali. Ne voglio assolutamente una insieme a quella bicicletta bianca da sogno. 

It's not the first time I speak about Noway on my blog. This brand has always struck me for its simplicity, for the few pieces that it offers, but always well made. And last, but not least, for the lookbook, so captivating and hitting in the spot.
In this collection there also are some bags, indeed exceptional. I definitely want one with the white amazing bicycle.

Sekeping Kong Heng, l'essenza del recupero

Hanno sempre un certo fascino questi edifici che mantengono le tracce del tempo passato sui propri muri. Meglio di muri nuovi, asettici e bianchi. Open space con una forte personalità data appunto da questi materiali che hanno visto il signor tempo passeggiare davanti a loro. 

Sekeping Kong Heng è un ex ostello per artisti di teatro, oggi guest house realizzata dallo studio Seksan Design, i cui arredi ricordano una vecchia fabbrica. Il progetto è fortemente incentrato nel recupero, che pare essere riuscito pienamente. 

These buildings that keep track of time spent on their walls always have a certain charm on me. Better than new walls, aseptic and white. Open space with a strong personality give by these materials that have seen Mr time walking in front of them.
Sekeping Kong Heng is a former hostel for theater actors, today's a guest house designed by Seksan Design, whose furnishings remind to idea of an old factory. The project has a strong focus in the recovery, which seems to be fully successful.

Masterplan, the poetry of crisis

Chad Wright, designer and artist, had realized the installation called Masterplan. The idea come from the usual planning of suburb area of Southern California. The artist mixed the childhood experience of building sand castles and the reality of the current real estate collapse. Leaving all at the mercy of the waves. The result is pure poetry. 

Chad Wright, designer e artista, ha realizzato l'installazione Masterplan. L'idea nasce dall'urbanistica utilizzata nel sud della California. L'artista ha fuso insieme l'esperienza fanciullesca della costruzione di castelli di sabbia con la realtà del collasso del mercato immobiliare. Lasciando il tutto in balia delle onde. Il risultato è pure poesia. 

La carta vivente di Choung Nguyen

L'origami è un'arte, ma la vera arte è rendere vivi questi animali. Guardate queste piegature, l'espressività che Cuong Nguyen dà alla carta nel creare le propri opere. Pensare che io non riesco nemmeno a fare una barchetta di carta...

Origami is art, but the real art is making these animals alive. Look at these foldings, look the expression that Choung Nguyen gives to paper in creating his works. Make me laughing just the thing that I can not even make a paper boat ...
