Che le telecamere non si lavora con?
Io uso vecchie telecamere analogiche. Con pellicola uso per lo più una Nikon F70 e Yashica MG1. Per la fotografia digitale uso una Canon 7D.
Che cosa significa per te la fotografia?
È la mia via d'uscita dalla routine quotidiana, un modo di evadere le regole ed esprimermi liberamente. Con la fotografia si possono tradurre su supporto emozioni, sentimenti, catturare la bellezza delle persone e delle cose.
I tuoi soggetti preferiti sembrano essere persone. Cosa si nasconde dietro a un ritratto? Qual è il messaggio dietro ogni singola foto?
E' vero, mi piace fotografare le persone.
Per me, un ritratto è un modo di catturare il soggetto nella situazione in cui si trova in quel momento, indipendentemente dal contesto. Quindi, preferisco lavorare con modelle amatoriali, che possano apparire in un atteggiamento più naturale possibile, per ottenere un prodotto autentico e reale.
Dietro ogni immagine esiste una relazione tra modella e fotografo, si palesa la mia percezione verso quella persona e ciò fa decidere per una location per lo shooting oppure un'altra.
In breve, è tutto collegato alla persona che stai fotografando.
Quali sono i suoi rapporti con il corpo nudo? È più difficile realizzare un ritratto, con o senza vestiti?
Non ci avevo mai pensato. Credo che per me ciò sia più naturale rispetto a quanto accade ad altre persone, anche perché non è qualcosa che programmo per quella determinata sessione. Di solito si tratta di qualcosa che accade naturalmente, ci sono delle occasioni che possono portare al nudo, ma ripeto, dipende tutto da come le cose scorrono tra soggetto e fotografo. Se c'è sufficiente fiducia può accadere. Penso anche che la nudità, a volte, può mostrare una totale trasparenza ad una persona, al di là della propria nudità fisica.
Il nudo aiuta un fotografo? Pensa che per fare foto di nudo potrebbe ridurre le stime per il lavoro di un artista?
Non credo che il nudo possa aiutare la tua fotografia. E' vero che si può ottenere più visitatori su internet, ma è evidente che molti non lo facciano pensato alla propria immagine. Allo stesso modo, può accadere che un book venga ingiustamente giudicato, se alcune delle fotografie che appaiono riguardano persone nude. E' una questione complicata, è necessario demistificare alcuni concetti sul nudo e cercare di guardare oltre i corpi visti come oggetti.
Cos'altro fare oltre la fotografia?
Sono all'ultimo anno della mia laurea in Ingegneria Civile e sto curando una giovane etichetta di street wear con mio fratello, www.frescosfam.com.

What cameras do you work with?
I use old analog cameras when I shoot on film, mostly a Nikon f70 and Yashica MG1. For digital works I shoot with a Canon 7D.
What does photography mean to you?
It is my way out from the daily routine, a way to abstract of the rules and express myself freely. With photography you can translate emotions, feelings ... capture the beauty in people and things.
Your favorite subjects seems to be people. What are behind a portrait? Which is the message behind a single photo?
It is quite true, I love photographing people.
For me, a portrait is to capture the subject in the situation that at that moment, regardless of context. So I prefer to work with amateur models, resulting in a more natural attitude that makes it pure and real.
Behind every picture there is a relationship between model and photographer, there is the perception I have of that person and that is what makes me lean more towards one or another location to photograph.
In short, it isa ll about connecting with the person you´re photographing.
What are your relationship with naked body? Is it more difficult realize a portrait with or without dresses?
I never really had raised it. I guess for me it is more natural than other people might find it because it's not something I plan to do in one session or worry me, usually something that happens naturally, say that there are times when a session nude photos can lead to, but I repeat, all about how things flow between subject and photographer. If there is sufficient confidence can happen. I also think that nudity, some times, may show full transparency to a person, beyond the physical.
The nude helps a photographer? Do you think that making nude photos would reduce the estimates to the work of an artist?
I do not think the nude help stop helping about your photography. It is true that you can get more people to look out for your shot if there is nudity, but obviously many do not do it for the picture itself. Similarly, it can happen that a catalog you unfairly by your audience if some of the photographs that do appear naked people. It is a complicated issue, should demystify some concepts about it and try to look beyond the bodies as objects.

What is the photo you'd dream to take?
Anyone which shows the success and happiness of my family and mine.
